Among the great names of designers known all over the world who have collaborated with SCHIFFINI, the most important is Vico Magistretti, unforgettable master of Italian design. From the memorable partnership, which began in the 1960s and lasted until the death of Magistretti in 2006, were produced revolutionary and timeless models that have left an indelible trace in the design reflections on interior architecture. The minimalist and functional approach of Magistretti was in perfect synergy with SCHIFFINI’s mission: to create high-quality kitchens, durable over time, but that were also real masterpieces.

A new Art Director:
Marco Costanzi
Born in Imola in 1965, he graduated in Architecture from the University of Florence. In 2006 he founded the architectural studio Marco Costanzi Architect. He focuses on many projects both in Italy and abroad: shops, homes, offices, showrooms characterized by an unequivocal stylistic figure made of balance of gestures and reflections on the role of light that turns into material for investigation and design. The desire to dare and a fresh and genuine curiosity become the ingredients to designate a path that reveals the pre-eminence of a perceptive philosophy and affirms a clear awareness of choices.
His research is developed and perfected by the tension between the sensory dimension of the project, based on a game of similarities and contrasts, and the choice of spatial essentiality.
100 YEARS OF FLAWS
Yes, we have quite a few. And what’s worse, we’re terribly proud of them.
Because that’s what make us who we are.
PROUD, just to start, of being Italian. Because we’re the only ones who know how to combine a great tradition of design with an incomparable craftsmanship, that distinguishes us everywhere. We were born in 1925 designing kitchen, initially for ships and yacht.
This has made us, to say the least, PERFECTIONISTS. Accustomed to considering even the smallest details, to take limited spaces, adverse weather conditions, and extreme situations. Challenges that have shaped us and pushed us to always do better.
We’re OBSTINATE lovers of excellence: we continue to believe in the highest quality of design, materials and production processes. And we remain convinced that this is what sets us apart from everyone else.
In addition, we’re INSATIABLE: we constantly looking for innovative solutions, both in aesthetics and functionality. And we collaborate with all our clients to create truly tailor-made products.
We’re so AMBITIOUS that making sophisticated and performing kitchens isn’t enough. We want to offer a complete design experience, able to create a deep connection with those who choose us: the tactile, visual and emotional sensation of excellence. That’s what we work for every day.
