Cinqueterre
1999, CINQUETERRE:
THE FIRST ALUMINIUM KITCHEN
Cinqueterre is the emblem of the collaboration between Vico Magistretti and Schiffini. In 1999, he revolutionized the market with his industrial style. Made entirely of aluminium, it is still today the perfect synthesis between technical excellence and timeless style. Characterized by a meticulous choice of finishes, precision craftsmanship and attention to detail, Cinqueterre rejects uniformity and becomes an example of mechanical innovation and technological avant-garde.
Distinctive feature of the iconic model is the wavy surface of the door that gives shape to interesting games of light and rhythm. The tubular Cinqueterre handle emphasizes the movement evoked by the staves overlaid by the door. A kitchen that values the natural aging of its materials, understood, however, not as decay, but as an additional value to allow it to evoke our most beautiful memories over the years.
Nero Portovenere
“Homage to the Cinqueterre by Vico Magistretti” includes the introduction of a new material dimension: marble. As a tribute to the Ligurian origin of the brand, next to the iconic finish of the model, anodized aluminum, was proposed a natural stone from the Gulf of Poets: the Portoro. It is a polychrome marble characterized by pleasant veins on golden tones that give depth and brightness to the intense black background, creating harmonious color contrasts.
Being the Portoro a natural stone, each slab is unique and therefore every composition is unrepeatable. The combination with Tigullio Grey aluminium gives the model an unusual tactile sensation. Dark tones ranging between shades of grey and black give contrast and reflect light to the environment. Innovation and timeless design for a model that will not be easily forgotten.
Bianco Apuane
From the majestic chain of the Apuan Alps a historical and valuable material is extracted, used by the greatest sculptors of the Renaissance, the Carrara white marble. “Homage to the Cinqueterre by Vico Magistretti” is distinguished by the presence of the iconic arabesque marble, creating a kitchen that evokes brightness and tradition. The link with the Ligurian land is once again accentuated by the meeting between the surface of the door, which recalls the waves of the sea, together with the Carrara white marble, which refers to the Apuan Alps where there are quarries from which it is extracted.
The candied shade of marble, sprinkled with delicate greyish veins, is combined with anodized aluminium Argento Veneziano, which covers part of the doors and tubular handles, giving the composition a sense of purity that transforms the environment into an oasis of elegance.
Rosso Levanto
The main element of the composition is the marble Rosso Levanto. Natural stone whose extraction is limited to a few quarries mainly located in the municipality of Levanto and the nearby Framura. This variety of marble is distinguished by its mainly reddish pigmentation; the background is embellished with a charming weave of white veins of calcite and fragments of quartz with serpentine green hues that create an elegant and sophisticated contrast.
The Rosso Levanto finish blends harmoniously with the anodized aluminum Nero Lipari, giving life to an elegant model, but at the same time with a distinct personality. The Cinqueterre by Magistretti immerses itself in a new way but always remaining true to itself.
